I am Seheno, singer songwriter born in Madagascar and now based in Paris. I hail from a family of renowned Malagasy pop musicians.
My music is the fruit of my native roots at the crossroads of Africa & Indian Ocean with a touch of non-conformism. I blend elements of traditional Malagasy, Indian percussions, electronic music, a mixed of organic and hybrid sound textures.
As a frequent traveller to Madagascar, Europe and Asia, nature and our mutating world have a strong impact on my songs.
I was finalist at the 2019 ISC (International Songwriter Competition) and got honorable mention from the jury. Currently I am working on the production of my new project.
Music is about energy, connection, so looking forward to connect with you and together create some magic!

"Feel the Sunrise" is an ode to the sun to celebrate its abundance, its beauty and generosity. The water, the plants and all beings in this planet are following the cycle of the sun. We need it every day and yet we take it for granted. In this piece two voices converse with the complicity of a drum and a tapestry of electronic tones. Together Marc Ndzana’s drums, Paola Munda and Seheno’s vocals celebrate the Sunrise, this beautiful energy that makes our planet rise with the sun no matter what.
We live on this beautiful planet, we breathe thanks to it. She generously gives us what we need. The song "The Time is Now" is about our relationship and our behavior towards it and our disconnection from each other. We now know that the resources are not limitless and it is time to reconnect. There are no better times than now. The Time is Now
