Ras Soto is a Mozambican Dancehall, Reggae and Ragga Muffin singer and songwriter. His career is marked not only by musical performance, but also,
for activism in relation to social causes.
Ras Soto is a versatile artist, he sings and composes in English, Portuguese and Xangana, one of the dialects spoken in Mozambique. He moves masterfully between the different aspects of reggae music. This characteristic makes Ras Soto highly sought after by music producers on five continents for compositions and recordings.
His discography includes the album Love is Solution (2014), the mixtapes Dancehall Time (2019) and Ras Soto World Wide (2020), the EP Nah go let them (2021) with several singles. The artist's entire repertoire is available on the main streaming platforms. In 2021, his song Extra Ordinary was licensed by the company Zumba Fitness, with the song being performed in approximately 180 countries.
Currently, Ras Soto resides in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
