A professional drummer with over 15 years of experience, specializing in Jazz, Funk, Afrobeat, Math-Rock.
Winner of the 2022 Conad Jazz Contest powered by Umbria Jazz, Mauro Patti has studied and performed alongside some of the world's most renowned musicians, including Jeff Ballard, Greg Hutchinson, Jim Black, Ziv Ravitz, Ferenc Nemeth, Ralph Alessi, Jesse Davis, Demian Cabaud, Gabriele Evangelista, Giovanni Falzone, Yonathan Avishai, Fabrizio Puglisi, Greg Burk, Nico Gori, and many others.
An active drummer in Italy, Patti has graced prestigious venues such as Blue Note Milan, Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Umbria Jazz, Umbria Jazz Winter, Umbria Jazz Weekend and more ..
As the leader of Telamon, in 2023, he releases the debut album of his ensemble, called ”Telamon,” released by the record label "Dodicilune.

'Habiba' honors my grandmother, a source of deep inspiration. Despite few meetings, her story left a lasting impression. She exemplified kindness and empowerment, working as a midwife, farmer, market vendor and basket weaver, caring not only for her own children but also for struggling children in the village. Her resilience fuels my drive for empowerment and social change. She remains a timeless inspiration, guiding my journey with strength and compassion.

"Domino" started off as a four-bar loop on the piano, and it quickly grew into something way beyond that. Norté came in with these incredible lyrics, some parts in Ga-Adangme and some in English, which brought so much depth to the track. Then, you've got Fox laying down these groovy sax lines that are nothing short of inspiring; and Mauro on the drums, being the heartbeat of the track and keeping us all locked into that groove. When I was piecing it together, I really wanted to capture the fun we had to collaborate on this track.
