Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson is an Award-winning Ghanaian singer songwriter and a performer better known by her stage name as Abiana.
I am known for her stagecraft and vocal prowess.
I am highlife artist I describe my musical style as soul life, encompassing, soul music, highlife neo-soul. My sound has a mixture of different eclectic music genres.
I also plays the guitar cites Alicia Keys, Asa , Angelique kidjo and Celine Dione as my role models.
I commenced my music journey performing as a live bands artist playing with Afro harmony and Highskul band.
Launched my music journey with Adun lei which earned me the female vocalist at the VGMA's. I have 1 album under the name Alemle Lala and 3 singles Shika, Far Away and African Highlife. Which are part an EP titled 'Taste of Africa'.
The challenge of social change consists first of all in individual awareness. In this world context where the news is governed by the division between people , we wish to say, thanks to this song, that we human beings are all the same and that an even blood flows in our veins whoever we are (Abiana “ I am one of us, you are made of me”) , that we have to be there for each other ( Joyce “ you are not alone”) and that the purpose of our passage on Earth should be Love between us all.
A song about mother earth’s cry out for us to use sustainable ways to bring the greens back into her Starting off with propelling story telling which elaborates the user (human ) reminiscing on the past thee use to be so much green against how it all filled with tall structures in a chaotic city . It preaches our reality , living in society where there is no accountability and irresponsibility contributed this state . Simply put” It begins with you “any effort to make Earth better than she was before .
