Production Updates & New Social Initiatives

Dear Beyond Music family,

We're in the thick of production for our album Beyond Music Vol.4 - Social Change, and it's shaping up beautifully, thanks to you.

In September, we recorded the first winning song, “Chica de Favela” with Angélique Kidjo in Paris. Guided by Grammy-winning producer David Donatien, the winning team collaborated with Kidjo to reimagine and rearrange the song. Production continued in October with “Get Wise” in Zurich, where the winners worked with Wiyaala and producer Dodo to craft a powerful new dance version. We’ll complete the series end of November with the recording of the winning song “Stay Together” in Lagos with Pheelz.

Meanwhile, your 20 other winning songs for the album will be refined. We're aiming for a spring 2025 release and will keep you in the loop with all the details once they’re set.

Expanding our platform for Social Change – share your story!

Beyond Music is more than a music community – it’s a growing space for impact. With this newsletter, we’re excited to announce an expanded focus on showcasing your social initiatives. Many of you are already deeply engaged in social projects, whether by leading your own initiatives or supporting ongoing ones. Through our conversations with you, we’ve been inspired by your multifaceted work and are in awe of what you’re achieving.

To support this vision, we’ve created a dedicated page on our platform to highlight the incredible social projects led by our members.

We’d love to help make your projects visible on Beyond Music and explore ways to support you further. Whether through community exchange, sharing resources, or other creative collaborations, our goal is to build a space where ideas for change can thrive and grow. Additionally, we aim to feature your social initiatives on our social media channels to help you reach an even wider audience.

New Feature: You can now add your projects to your profile page and receive the new “Social Activist” tag, which will also be displayed on our artist world map. This makes it easier for others to find, connect, and collaborate with you and your ideas.

Tell us about your projects! Send your story to info@beyondmusic.org. Together, we’re creating a platform where music and social engagement go hand in hand.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey to make a positive impact on the world.

With warm regards,
Konstanze & Regula
